2016 Sister Paulette Award Winners

Educators at Charlotte Catholic High School inspire our students to be their best.  The CCHS Foundation awards those staff members who go above and beyond in making a difference in the lives of our young people and school community. Five staff members are recognized annually for their outstanding service at graduation. Each honoree receives a $5,000 award.

The awards are named in honor of Sister Paulette Williams, RSM. She was a teacher and principal at Charlotte Catholic High School from 1973 to 2000. Her dedication and commitment to students and staff was instrumental in building the high school we know today.

The Charlotte Catholic High School Foundation launched the award in 2016 to show our donors' appreciation of the important work done by CCHS staff as well as to encourage and reward excellence to further the overall spiritual growth and academic achievement of CCHS.

The entire high school community is encouraged to participate in the process. Current students, parents and CCHS employees can nominate a staff member for the award.

Kara Ann Kloiber (CCHS Class of '93) cherished her time at Charlotte Catholic High School. She saw her school as a faith community where friends lasted forever and teachers became family.  Sadly, we lost Kara Ann in a car accident in 1997.

Her family established a scholarship fund in her name knowing she would want to continue to help others.

In the years since its establishment, this scholarship has benefited many by providing tuition support to those who exemplify Kara's love and appreciation for CCHS.

Applications should be filled out by a student, but signed by a parent. Applications are being accepted now through October 31, 2017.

The Charlotte Catholic High School Foundation provides classroom and teachers grants to enhance and improve the learning experience for our students.

The grants are awarded twice a year. Once in the fall of the school year and again in the spring.

Over the years $100's of thousands have been awarded to fulfill the CCHS Foundation's mission of enriching the spiritual, academic and cultural development of our students.

Deadline to apply for a fall 2017 grant is September 15th.
