The
CCHS Foundation hosts an annual Gala & Auction, including the popular
Grand Spree raffle, to support Charlotte Catholic High School. It is the only
special event fundraiser for the school. All donations
directly benefit the CCHS Foundation's funds, which are used to enhance the
school's educational and extracurricular programs. The mission of the CCHS
Foundation is to enrich the development of our students by raising funds that
support the current and future initiatives of Charlotte Catholic High School.
This year's
Gala,
A Time to Shine, was held on March
6, 2010 at The Ballantyne Hotel.
The Gala Committees
planned an evening with wonderful music from
Z Brothers,
cocktails, raffles, delicious food and our ever-popular Silent, Super Silent
and Live auctions! Bob Lacey from the world-famous
Bob & Sheri
radio show served as auctioneer and the charismatic
CCHS parent David Oakley was our master of ceremonies!
The Gala is Charlotte Catholic’s premier fundraising event and was a
tremendous success.
Former principal, Sr. Paulette
Williams, was named our 2010 Gala Honoree for her contributions to Charlotte
Catholic High School. The CCHS Foundation will sponsor a full-year’s tuition
at CCHS for a student in need for the 2010-2011 school year in Sr. Paulette’s
name.
Thanks to all of our donors,
attendees and volunteers, the 2010 Gala really was a time to shine!
Your generosity and support means the world to us, and because of your
dedication to CCHS, we'll continue our mission to provide funding for new and
innovative educational programs while making the benefits of a Catholic
education available to all who wish to attend the school.

highly educated students for years to come.
Past fundraising efforts have allowed the Foundation to furnish the newly
constructed 350-seat chapel, purchase a campus-wide security system, new
crosses and lettering for the school building, uniforms for the marching
band, a mobile computer lab and other necessary items requested by the
teachers not covered in the school budget.
Thanks to our 2010 Donors
